It all started with a simple idea. Just the two of us, doing what we love: creating a fun dance video together.
We filmed it, posted it, and had absolutely no idea what was about to happen. Our video went viral.
Then people started recreating it. And somewhere along the way, AI joined the party.
Suddenly, there were dancing cats. Then dogs. Then all kinds of AI-generated characters performing movements inspired by our original video.
Our little dance had officially escaped into the wild. 😂
Before we knew it, the trend was spreading across social media, reaching audiences far beyond our own followers.

The funniest part
A lot of people recognize the dancing AI cats… but have no idea the original came from us!
Yep. Two real humans started the dance that the internet now knows through countless AI characters.
It’s funny, surreal, and honestly pretty amazing to watch something we created take on a life of its own.
For us, this story represents something bigger than one viral moment. We’re not just following internet trends. We’re creating original content that can inspire them.
And while the cats might have stolen the spotlight, we’re still here: dancing, laughing, experimenting, and coming up with our next big idea.
Original reel figures from Instagram Insights, as of 9 October 2026. AI recreations are part of our own account of the trend; we don’t claim that every AI cat video on the internet is derived from ours, and we don’t claim ownership of dance moves or of the trend itself.
The cats went viral. We started the dance. And we’re just getting started. ❤️
